From the New York Post: UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Shortly after Vice President Kamala Harris handed over the podium to President Biden on Thursday, dozens of attendees at a joint event simply stood up and left rather than listen to the retiring commander-in-chief.
The rude demonstration was a stark demonstration of the enthusiasm gap among Democrats revved up by Harris’ sudden elevation as the party’s presidential nominee — after Biden regularly suffered low rally attendance replete with heckling.
Hundreds of guests showed up to the event at Prince George’s Community College — standing in long, sweltering lines outside in bright sun and near-90-degree heat.
The event ostensibly was to celebrate the announcement of 10 prescription drug prices that will be lowered for senior citizens enrolled in Medicare Part D — with those savings taking effect in 2026.
When Harris first came to the podium, she led the crowd in a chant of “Thank you, Joe!” and called him an “extraordinary president.”
Biden appeared confused, and moved stiffly.

When Biden took the microphone, he mocked Trump, pretending he couldn’t remember his name, and called him “Donald Dump.”

Trump is blasting the Biden-Harris administration for trying to take credit for lowering the cost of insulin.
“The $35 insulin… I did that,” Trump declared while speaking at an event in North Carolina on Wednesday.
The Harris campaign released a “fact check” and claimed, “This is a blatant lie. Trump did not cap insulin costs, Biden-Harris did for seniors through the Inflation Reduction Act. Trump’s Project 2025 wants to repeal it, which would raise insulin costs for over a million Americans.”

The Trump campaign fired right back again – with the RECEIPTS.
“Fact check of your fact check: President Trump announced an executive order in May 2020 capping the cost of insulin at $35. One of Biden’s first acts as president was repealing this executive order so that he could then take credit for it,” the Trump War Room announced, posting a video of Trump making the announcemen.
