WATCH: Crowd-for-hire CEO criticizes upcoming ‘No Kings’ anti-Trump protests

From Fox NewsThe head of a national crowd-for-hire firm is warning that America’s protest culture has become a target for exploitation — by paid agitators, profit-driven interest groups and even foreign actors seeking to fuel division.

Adam Swart, CEO of Crowds on Demand, told Fox News Digital that his company has witnessed firsthand how demonstrations can be co-opted by people “making money off chaos” rather than advancing genuine civic causes.

“My concern is that there are forces — some domestic, some maybe foreign — that actually want to pull America apart,” Swart said. “These aren’t left or right actors. They’re people making money off chaos.”

His remarks come as organizers prepare for the “No Kings” protest, a nationwide demonstration planned for Oct. 18 that is expected to denounce political elitism and government overreach.

Calling the “No Kings” protest a “dud in the making,” Swart said his company was asked to participate in the event, but he declined.

“I’ve taken a pay cut to turn this into a company that advances common-sense causes,” Swart explained. “I could make 10 times more if I said yes to everything. But I don’t want to be part of the noise.”

“I want to elevate productive expression — not mob theatrics,” Swart said, adding that his company, Crowds on Demand, rejects contracts that he views as divisive or volatile. Instead, he wants to support peaceful, purposeful demonstrations.

In July, Swart told News Nation correspondent Brian Entin that he had been offered a contract worth $20 million to recruit people to participate in an anti-Trump protest, and he turned it down. He wouldn’t say exactly who had made the offer.

“I’m not trying to call myself virtuous for rejecting it. I’m rejecting it because… frankly, this is going to be ineffective. It’s going to make us all look bad,” Swart said.

“I just don’t think it’s effective,” Swart said of the radical anti-Trump protests.

Swart further expounded on the offer days later in a second interview:

The No Kings group is advertising their October 18 protest on social media.

The group claimed, “Trump thinks his rule is absolute, but in America, we don’t do “kings.” Since the inauguration, the Trump administration and its enablers have operated as though they have a mandate—but they don’t, and never did. They are going to extremes to empower the Trump administration and enrich themselves, while cutting jobs and services for the rest of us.”

In additional posts, the No Kings group raged against President Trump:

💰 He’s using OUR tax dollars to pay for HIS power grabs:
Trump is pouring public money into his authoritarian takeovers of cities—deploying federal forces, seizing local police departments, and funding mass detention and deportation operations—while cutting services that working families rely on every single day.

👑 We are united against kings:
Trump has openly said he wants a third term and is already acting like a monarch—seizing control of D.C., threatening other cities, and using federal forces against his own people. But the American people don’t bow to kings. Together, we will peacefully mobilize, yet again, in huge numbers to reject this corruption and abuse of power—it’s in our DNA as a country.

✋ They’ve gone too far: This is bigger than political disagreement. This administration has defied our courts, deported American citizens, disappeared people off the streets, and slashed our services—all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their billionaire allies. Enough is enough. For anyone who thinks they’ve gone too far, this movement is for you.

We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On October 18, we gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has #NoKings!

Whether you’re outraged by attacks on civil rights, skyrocketing costs, abductions and disappearances, the gutting of essential services, or the assault on free speech, this moment is for you. Whether you’ve been in the fight for years or you’re just fed up and ready to take action, this moment is for you.

We need to build a massive, visible, nonviolent, national rejection of this crisis. On October 18, we will see events across the country, in major cities and small towns in every state. Our goal is to show that the people—the majority—are taking action to stop the corruption and power grab.
