From Fox News: College football fans showed their patriotism Thursday afternoon at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Before Notre Dame and Georgia played their College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the Caesars Superdome, there was a moment of silence for those killed and injured in the New Orleans terror attack New Year’s Day.
More than a dozen people were killed and many more were injured when Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a truck through a crowd on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street.
The game had originally been scheduled for Wednesday evening, but was postponed for 24 hours following the horrific terror attack Wednesday morning.
In the sobering video below, the stadium filled with thousands of people holds a moment of silence for the victims. Amid the applause afterward, chants of “USA!” can be heard in parts of the stadium.

A massive American flag was brought out onto the field during the singing of the National Anthem.
After the song concluded, the entire stadium began chanting, “USA! USA!” The chant grew louder and louder until it thundered throughout the stadium.
Love a good National Anthem followed by USA! USA! USA!
