From Breitbart: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that he would have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested in accord with a controversial warrant by the International Criminal Court (ICC) earlier that day.
As Breitbart News reported, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant over the war in Gaza, which was started by Hamas, the Iranian-backed Palestinian terror organization.
Israel called the decision antisemitic, and the Biden-Harris administration denounced the ICC for the decision — though it was that same administration that reversed sanctions that President Donald Trump slapped on the ICC.
Netanyahu blasted the “arrest warrant” in a video message posted to social media, and said, “The antisemitic decision of the international court in The Hague is a modern Dreyfus trial, and it will end the same way.”
“This is a black day in the history of nations. The ICC in The Hague, which was established to protect humanity, has today become the enemy of humanity. Israel does not recognize and will not recognize this distorted decision,” Netanyahu declared.

The White House issued a statement from Joe Biden, condemning the order: “The ICC issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.”

However, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made it clear he will bow to the ICC.
During a press conference, Trudeau was asked by a reporter, if Netanyahu came to Canada, would he allow Canadian law enforcement to arrest him, or would he step in to prevent it?
Trudeau replied, “First of all, as Canada has always said, it’s really important that everyone abide by international law. This is something we’ve been calling on from the beginning of the conflict. We are one of the founding members of the International Criminal Court, and International Court of Justice. We stand up for international law, and we will abide by all the regulations and rulings of the international courts. This is just who we are as Canadians.”
Canadian Senator Leo Housakos from Quebec posted a video of Trudeau’s comments and blasted him for it.
“Disgraceful comments today from Justin Trudeau suggesting Canadian authorities would arrest Israeli PM Netanyahu. This ill-considered endorsement of the ICC’s politically motivated actions is a slap in the face to our ally and to every innocent Israeli still being held hostage,” Housakos declared.
“We stand with the people of Israel and support their right to self-defense against terrorism. The actions taken by both the ICC and Justin Trudeau should be condemned as a dangerous precedent that threatens global stability and the principles of international law,” he added.

Trudeau is being lambasted over his comments:
Thank you @SenatorHousakos for your moral clarity. Trudeau’s lack of judgment is appalling. Contrary to what he says, this ICC course of conduct undermines the international rule based system, since it is based on double standards that would prevent self defence.

Once again, Justin Trudeau turns on our ally Israel.
He didn’t directly say Netanyahu would be arrested in Canada, but that is what his words mean.
Trudeau is also the man who bowed to Iran’s foreign minister after Iran shot down a plane of Canadians.

The ICC arrest warrants for the former defence minister and the Prime Minister of Israel are outrageous.
They draw a false equivalency between a liberal democracy and a terrorist group that attacked that democracy last October 7th.Hamas needs to: Release the hostages. Drop… pic.twitter.com/KU1UKPCewL

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban took just the opposite approach, as he vehemently condemned the ICC.
“The #ICC arrest warrant against Prime Minister @netanyahu is brazen, cynical and completely unacceptable. I invited Prime Minister Netanyahu for an official visit to Hungary, where we will guarantee his freedom and safety,” Orban declared.
