Tony Roman, owner of Basilico’s Pasta E Vino, an Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach, California, just fired off a warning shot to the liberal Hollywood celebrities this week.
In a video posted on X, Roman said, “I have a message for all you Hollywood leftist so-called celebrities who, like zombies, worship and support the Democrat Party and their marxist agenda… Your woke mental disorder, along with your reckless endorsements and voting records, and the sheeple drones who blindly follow you have resulted in the destruction we’re all witnessing in Los Angeles.”
Roman said they are guilty of treason, but he’s going to give them a chance to “partially redeem yourselves, an opportunity to finally be on the right side of history by helping us take back this country from our anti-American enemies.”
He challenged the liberal celebrities to look in the mirror in shame, and then “step forward and publicly renounce your support for all Democrat politicians,” including demanding the arrest of Gavin Newsom, LA Mayor Karen Bass, and the LA fire department chief.
A statement on the restaurant’s X account reads: “NO LONGER JUST AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT AND BAR. IT’S A FORTRESS FOR FREEDOM, AND IS PLEDGED AS A ‘CONSTITUTIONAL BATTLEGROUND’ IN THE WAR AGAINST WOKE TYRANNY!”

Roman, an Italian-American, started speaking out during the Covid-19 pandemic, as he defied the lockdown orders in California. Below is an excerpt from their website:

FOR HIS BOLD STAND, HE AND HIS BUSINESS WERE TARGETED BY THE CITY, COUNTY, STATE, FEDS, THE MEDIA, HOLLYWOOD, THE RESTAURANT’S LANDLORD AND EVEN HIS FELLOW SO CALLED “AMERICANS” WHO BY THE HUNDREDS HAVE THREATENED TO KILL HIM AND BURN DOWN BASILICO’S. HIS BUSINESS FACED CRIMINAL CHARGES, REVOKED BUSINESS AND LIQUOR LICENSES AND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN FINES.
Roman has a podcast called “Roman Rules.” On Tuesday, he wanred that all the January 6 prosecutors are now abandoning ship, and going to the elite law firms.
He suggested that the Trump administration should go after them, and prosecute them.
