President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, explained Tuesday that Trump’s border policies are already having a major effect on the drug cartels.
Speaking with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, Homan said what Trump has done to the border already has “significantly hurt” the cartels, worldwide.
“They’re losing billions of dollars a month because of what President Trump has done,” Homan said. “We’re going to suffocate these people, we’re going to shut them down, because when they don’t have money, they can’t bribe officials and they can’t continue their business.”
“Not just in the United States, and not just in Mexico, but worldwide,” Homan said.
