Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is on a tour of several battleground states, including Wisconsin and Michigan, hosting a series of rallies and town halls, under the title, “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here.”
Promoting the events, Sanders said “we discuss how we take on the greed of the billionaire class and create a government that works for all and not just the few.”
“We’ll be in Republican districts in Wisconsin tonight and Michigan tomorrow. Americans — Republicans, Democrats, Independents — do not want massive cuts to Medicaid, Social Security and the VA in order to give tax breaks to billionaires. Together, we will stop them,” Sanders announced on Thursday.
President Trump has repeatedly insisted he is NOT making cuts to Medicaid, Social Security and VA benefits, but Democrats continue to promote the idea.

Sanders is being lambasted over a rally he held in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Friday, which included a performance on stage by transgender singer ‘Laura Jane Grace’, who sang a vile, anti-Christian song before Sanders took the stage.
Grace, 44, a biological man who was born as Thomas James Gabel, came out as transgender in May 2012. At the Sanders rally, Grace fired up the radical Democrat voters with a song titled, “Your God (God’s D—-).” The appalling lyrics include:
“Does your god have a big fat d–k? Cause it feels like he’s f–king me.”
“When he whips out his meat does your world fall to its knees?”
“Does he chew c– like bubblegum and give b–wjobs like a vacuum?”
The estimated 4,000 people attending the rally cheered in reaction to the song.
Political writer Stephen Kent shared a 13-second clip from the vile performance and wrote, “I’m no political strategist but I have questions about this as an opening act to @SenSanders rally in Kenosha 👀.

Conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck posted a video of the entire song, and wrote:
I found the full video of the @BernieSanders rally performance of “Does your God have a big fat d*ck?” by transgender singer Laura Jane Grace and it’s somehow more evil than it sounds.
The song specifically attacks Christianity with mentions of Easter and God’s son. Pure evil is what the Democrats stand for now. Make no mistake, this is a war of good vs. evil.

When Sanders came on stage, he THANKED the transgender singer for the performance.

@robbystarbuck They want to break our connection to family and faith—two of the most vital bonds we need for a fulfilling life. When people push division, it’s often because their own lives lack these essential connections.

Look. I’m a former democratic voter.
This is NOT the way to win over moderates, most people don’t like this kind of rhetoric, and they definitely don’t like talking about God and a d*** in a song.
It blows my mind how far this party has fallen. Not sure they will recover.

Try these lyrics about “Allah” and watch the response.

This is absolutely blasphemous💯💯

Yeah might’ve best best just played “baby I’m an anarchist” and called it a day.

I spent much of my life as a moderate dem. It’s hard to express how ashamed and disappointed I am in these people now. What has happened these last few years may not ever be undone. Inexcusable. 🤬😞

Meanwhile, Sanders has posted multiple videos and photos on social media, touting the huge attendance he’s getting at his rallies.
Of the rally in Kenosha where the transgender singer performed, Sanders wrote:
Great rally in Kenosha. 4,000 people came out to say:
NO tax breaks for billionaires.
NO cuts to Medicaid.
NO oligarchy.
NO authoritarianism.
NO MORE billionaires buying elections.

Sanders claims he’s building a movement to “fight back against greed and power.”
Real social movements for change always take place from the bottom on up, when working people stand up and fight back against greed and power.
We are building that movement. pic.twitter.com/2v5ug33ptW

“Over 15,000 people came out in Republican districts in Michigan and Wisconsin this weekend to say NO to oligarchy, NO to authoritarianism, NO to Medicaid cuts, NO to huge tax breaks for billionaires. If we stand together we can defeat Trumpism,” Sanders wrote in one post, sharing a photo of a packed gymnasium.
In another post, Sanders wrote, “Totally insane. First, a gym full of people. Then an overflow crowd. Then an overflow-overflow crowd, and an overflow-overflow-overflow crowd. More than 9,000 people came out in Warren, MI to say NO to oligarchy & NO cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and VA programs.”
We’re told that rural America doesn’t like progressive ideas.
Not what I saw today at our great rally in Altoona, WI — population 9,200.
