U.S. Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi batted down repeated attacks by Democrat senators during her hours-long confirmation hearing on Wednesday, and did it like a boss.

Bondi, 59, is the former Attorney General for Florida, where she served for a full 8 years, from 2011 to 2019.Β  She is also a longtime supporter of President-elect Donald Trump.

During her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, instead of focusing on fighting crime, Democrats repeatedly pounded Bondi over her prior concerns about the 2020 election results, and kept trying to get her to say that Joe Biden ‘won’ the election.

Democrats also harped over Trump’s FBI director nominee, Kash Patel, trying to get Bondi to denounce statements made by Patel.

Bondi torched Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal in a brutal takedown.

β€œI sit up here and speak the truth. I’m not going to sit up here and say anything I NEED to say to get confirmed by this body. I don’t have to say anything,” she declared.

Democrat Mazie Hirono sneered at Bondi for only acknowledging Biden is the president, but refusing to say he won.

Sen. Adam Schiff (Calif.) went on a rampage, demanding to know if she is aware of a plan to investigate former Rep. Liz Cheney.

“You know what we should be worried about… the crime rate in California right now is through the roof! Your robberies are 87% higher than the national average! That’s what I want to focus on!” Bondi declared, as Schiff kept harping on Cheney.

Again, instead of addressing how Bondi would fight crime, Schiff demanded to know whether Bondi will investigate former special counsel Jack Smith.

“Why is Adam Schiff hyper fixated as to whether Pam Bondi plans to open the books on Jack Smith?” asked Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).

Schiff then demanded to know whether she would stop Trump from issuing blanket pardons for the January 6 prisoners. This one got hot as well.

“I’m not going to mislead this body, nor you. You were censured by Congress for comments just like this!” she declared.

Here’s the entire, wild 7-minute exchange with Schiff:

In one fiery exchange, Bondi blasted Democrat Senator Alex Padilla over his rude treatment of her, and declared, “I’m not going to be bullied by you!”

Padilla accused her of not understanding the 14th Amendment clause, and demanded that she recite what the 14th Amendment says.

“Senator, I’m here to answer your questions, I’m not here to do your homework and study for you,” she fired back.

Padilla later softened his stance, saying, “It seems to me you’re very, very, very, very likely to be confirmed, so I look forward to working with your office on the issues I’ve raised today.”

Bondi “flipped the script” on Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.), who asked,Β “It would not be appropriate for a prosecutor to start with a name and look for a crime? It’s a prosecutor’s job to start with a crime and look for a name. Correct?”

“Senator, I think that is the whole problem with the weaponization that we have seen the last four years and what’s been happening to Donald Trump,” Bondi smoothly fired back.

As Democrats continued to grill Bondi on Kash Patel his alleged “enemies list,” she delivered a powerful rebuke:

Still obsessed about Kash Patel, Democrat Dick Durbin then hit up Bondi about a statement Patel made about the conspiracy commentator ‘Q-Anon.’

She told him he would have to ask Patel about that.

Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt (Mo.) hit back at Democrats, telling Bondi, “Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well … I don’t think my Democrat colleagues learned very much from the November 5th election. The American people rejected all this β€” their obsession with President Trump didn’t bode well for them electorally, and I think if they stay on this path, they will be a permanent minority.”
