President Donald Trump warned on Monday that if Hamas does not hand over all the remaining hostages by noon on Saturday, all hell will break loose.

Now Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli security cabinet has echoed that sentiment.

“If all the Gaza hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 p.m., I would say cancel the ceasefire,” Trump said while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Monday. “Let all hell break out; Israel can override it.”

He noted that it would ultimately be Israel’s decision, but said ALL the hostages should be released, not just 2 or 3 at a time. Trump voiced concern that many of the hostages are likely dead.

One reporter asked what he meant by “all hell will break loose,” and Trump retorted, “You’ll find out, and they’ll find out what I mean.”

Netanyahu later released a statement:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

“I have just concluded an in-depth four-hour discussion in the political-security cabinet. We all expressed outrage at the shocking situation of our three hostages who were released last Saturday.

We all also welcomed President Trump’s demand for the release of our hostages by Saturday noon, and we all also welcomed the president’s revolutionary vision for the future of Gaza.

In light of Hamas’ announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, last night I ordered the IDF to amass forces inside and around the Gaza Strip.
This operation is being carried out at this time. It will be completed in the very near future.

The decision that I passed unanimously in the cabinet is this:
If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday noon – the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will return to intense fighting *until Hamas is finally defeated.”*

Trump confirmed Tuesday morning that Saturday is still the deadline for Hamas.
