A jaw-dropping interview with identical twin sisters from Queensland, Australia is going viral on social media, and for good reason.
The sisters, Bridgette and Paula Powers, who are 51, speak in unison, almost word for word, and say they don’t even notice they’re doing it. They explained that it’s almost impossible not to do it.
The twins were interviewed after witnessing a car crash involving a carjacked vehicle on Monday. According to the sisters, their mother, and another man ran to help the victims of the crash. But then one of the “victims” turned out to be an armed carjacker who threatened her with a gun.
The sisters, wearing the same clothing, hairstyles and jewelry, are identical in every way, even to the sound of their voices… and their words.
Speaking in sync, they recalled, “One guy, he was up there with our mum. He went up there and he was coming back down toward us… And he goes ‘run, he’s got a gun!'”

In a follow-up interview, the twin sisters did it again… speaking almost completely in unison.
When asked about their unusual phenomenon, the sisters said, in unison, “We have tried to talk separately, but we’re not ourselves, it’s very hard… we tell people if you can’t stand listening to us, just switch off the TV.”
They said when they’re separated, it’s very traumatic and “we’re not ourselves.”
Bridgette and Paula said during Covid, one of them had to be hospitalized, and they nearly went crazy being separated.

SBS News reported: The pair has run the Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue in Landsborough for the past 25 years, rehabilitating seabirds and pelicans who’ve been injured in the wild. Two years ago they were at risk of losing the sanctuary until a businessman made a generous donation to keep it going.
