I refuse to hire any contractor who employs illegal aliens
He said something people don’t realize is a huge contributing factor I see every day. “GC’s are making bank!”
General contractors are making bank hiring illegals and while paying them a fair wage usually with no benefits whatsoever, while they reap the profits. Not paying any benefits, no OT while expecting 50-60 hours per week from their employees, no medical, no dental, no anything. The lucky ones get Thanksgiving and Christmas day off but without pay. That makes their so called fair wage plummet while the GC’s sit on their asses doing next to nothing other than reaping the profits.
This does not include very small companies and those just starting out.
This does not mean much. As soon as Trump is gone in 2028, i have very little confidence any of his picks will carry the torch faithfully. Trump was a once in a lifetime aberration. Majority if America must resist the open borders/pro immigration mindset and continue to expel illegals.
However as long as Trump refuses to sign an exec order for E Verify, he is actually supporting a shadow industry of illegals to remain present in our nation.
I think it should be done also however, E Verify is just as easy to forge as every other legal document they forge all day every day.
A federal judge will just stop the e- verify, just like they do to everything else President Trump signs.
