From Patch.com: Scores of Pro-Palestine protesters took over Grand Central Station in Midtown as part of a demonstration coinciding with the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to the White House on Monday.
The latest protest was organized by the group Within Our Lifetime that began outside the United Nations headquarters before making its way to the Midtown train station.
The pre-planned protest started Monday at 4:00 p.m.
WOL founder Nerdeen Kiswani posted videos of their protest, including the first demonstration outside the United Nations headquarters, to coincide with World Health Day.
Kiswani notes on her X profile that she is a Palestinian Muslim. She was reportedly born in Jordan, but raised in Brooklyn. She also announced that she is 8 months pregnant.
Kiswani was also involved in the 2015 establishment of NYC Students for Justice in Palestine (NYC SJP) while she was a law student at the City University of New York (CUNY). In 2018, NYCSJP was renamed as Within Our Lifetime (WOL).

Sharing more videos outside New York’s Grand Center terminal, Kiswani brazenly declared, “Gaza said: Stop the world for Palestine. So today, @WOLPalestine took over Grand Central Station, NYPD shut down multiple entrances, and brought the heart of NYC to a halt. We protested in front of the UN & Egyptian embassy. We are just getting started.”

After causing mass chaos at rush hour in New York City, preventing commuters from using public transportation to go home, Kiswani then complained that “Zionists threw garbage water, a bag of dog shit, and other heavy items from a rooftop…” She lamented that NYPD “did nothing.”

“Let me be clear: Zionists launched projectiles at protesters from above — any one of them could’ve killed someone. But instead of arresting them, NYPD targeted us. When I tried to report it, they physically assaulted me,” Kiswani whined.

“The NYPD then threatened to arrest us if we protested at the Zionist embassy. They tried to block us from entering Grand Central. They failed. But their message was clear: Zionists get protection, Palestinians get criminalized,” Kiswani claimed.
“This is what being Palestinian or even supporting Palestine looks like in New York: Zionists can commit acts of violence with impunity. Palestinians and our allies can’t even gather without facing repression,” the pro-Palestinian activist fumed.
