From the New York Post: Hordes of hoodlums vandalized three police cars — including smashing windows and jumping on at least one vehicle — early Sunday during a wild car meet-up in Queens, according to police and footage of the chaos.
The bedlam happened along Rockaway Boulevard in a commercial area of Ozone Park as rowdy brutes engulfed the police cars responding to disorder around 1 a.m., police and law enforcement sources said.
Jaw-dropping video shows a handful of perps either leaning against or slapping an unmarked car before one vandal gets on the hood of the vehicle and slams a traffic cone against the windshield, cracking it.
Other rabble-rousers then jumped on top of the car and threw another traffic cone at it before the vehicle — with its sirens blaring — pulled away, footage shows.
The ruffians also threw traffic cones at a marked NYPD cruiser during the skirmish, additional video shows.
The original videos appear to all have been posted to Instagram by members of the mob, who were attacking the NYPD vehicles and taunting the officers.
Journalist Leeroy Johnson of ViralNewsNYC reposted some of the videos to X:

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch announced, “We will not tolerate lawlessness or vandalism aimed at the police. Last night in Queens, we arrested several individuals for crimes that endangered our cops and our streets. Rest assured, we’ll be back soon for the rest of them.”
