From Fox News: Chaos and wild brawls broke out at a New York City university on Thursday evening after pro-Palestinian activists tried setting up an encampment on college grounds.
New York Police Department (NYPD) officers were dispatched to Brooklyn College after anti-Israel agitators refused to take down their tents. Videos show activists, many of whom were wearing keffiyehs, yelling and swearing as police officers attempted to get the unruly crowd under control.
Brooklyn College told Fox News that the protesters “erected tents on the Brooklyn College quad in violation of college policy.”
X user Stu, a citizen journalist, shared details and videos on social media of the wild melee. The pro-Hamas activists designated a certain area of the campus as a “liberation zone,” took it over, and released a list of their DEMANDS.

The activists are chanting while holding up Palestinian flags, along with banners that read, “Glory to our martyrs, Victory to the Resistance.”

The NYPD moved in to make arrests, and a woman (perhaps a teacher) is heard screeching, “Hands off our students! Hands off our students!”

Most of the activists are wearing either Palestinian scarves over their heads and faces, or burqas while chanting, “Say it loud and say it clear, we don’t want no Zionists here. Say it loud and say it clear, Zionists aren’t welcome here.”
Today’s so-called “liberated zone” at Brooklyn College is a clear violation of the Henderson Rules. With the NYPD stepping back, a cluster of tents has already multiplied.

NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, a Republican, blasted the college for at first not allowing NYPD to enter the campus and restore order.

In another post Vernikov wrote: “Germany 1939? Nope, @CUNY Brooklyn College 2025. I’m not going to rest until EVERY SINGLE PERSON responsible for this is held to account — FROM THE TOP DOWN. Get ready @ChancellorCUNY.”

Meanwhile, the pro-Hamas mob announced they would hold a one-hour “Primal Scream for Palestine” at Columbia University at midnight.
Stu posted a video and wrote “Sure, the midnight primal screams are cringey, but at least it could’ve given us a laugh. Instead, we got an hour of dead-serious chants about globalizing the intifada — a grim reminder of just how far gone this whole thing is.”
