Joe Rogan decided to invite Donald Trump onto his podcast after Trump was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, calling the timing “perfect” after previously declining.
Rogan’s decision came up in Friday’s interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” where Trump described the presidency as a “very dangerous business.” Rogan also noted Trump’s prior interview with comedian Theo Von in August and his running mate Sen. JD Vance’s appearance on the same show.
The discussion soon turned to Trump’s injury from the July 13 rally shooting, where 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore. Rogan also asked if Trump had a scar on his ear.
“It zicked right there,” the GOP presidential nominee said, showing off the wound behind his right ear.
