President Donald Trump went to Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday for his annual physical, and says he thinks he aced it.
Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Monday that he would be going for the appointment.
“I am pleased to report that my long scheduled Annual Physical Examination will be done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday of this week. I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!” Trump wrote.
President Trump left the White House for Walter Reed at 11:00 a.m. Friday, and was there for about 4 and 1/2 hours. Trump then flew on Air Force One to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida for the weekend.
While aboard Air Force One, Trump came back to speak with reporters, and told them he thought his appointment went really well.
“I think I did well… every test you can imagine… I think they’re releasing the report on Sunday,” he said. “I felt I was in very good shape — good heart, a good soul,” he quipped.
“I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test, and I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” he added.
Throughout Joe Biden’s entire four year term in the Oval Office, he refused to take a cognitive test, despite repeated calls from conservatives for him to do so.
