From the New York Post: Donald Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz passed out and toppled over the lectern he was speaking from while onstage during a New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night, concerning video shows.

Bruesewitz was reportedly introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino when he started slurring his words and subsequently fainted in front of hundreds of worried attendees inside a Manhattan venue, according to footage of the event.

Several people rushed to his aid after he collapsed and took the lectern with him in the scary moment.

Below is the alarming moment Bruesewitz was trying to speak, said, “I’m forgetting my words,” wavered and froze, and then he was OUT.

Later in the event, Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, a former aide of British politician Nigel Farage, told the audience that Bruesewitz was recovering backstage, and proved his sense of humor was still intact.

“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said, ‘Alex, you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,’” Kassam told the audience. “But he’s recuperating back there, so give him a big cheer so he’ll hear you.”

Bruesewitz is the CEO of X Strategies LLC, whose mission is helping elect America First candidates.

Below is the beginning of Bruesewitz’s remarks, as he paid tribute to Scavino and others, including the New York Young Republicans Club, who have loyally stood beside Trump, “who revitalized the Republican Party and sacrificed so much to save our country.”

Trump later called in to the event and wished Bruesewitz well, saying, “I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun. There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”

Brueswitz reportedly fainted again at the hospital and is undergoing tests.

Lawyer Joseph D. McBride, announced in an update Monday morning, “He is still admitted to a hospital in New York where he has undergone a series of tests. Please keep this young fighter in your thoughts and prayers.”
