VIDEO: ‘Shameful’ MSNBC blasted for splicing Nazi rally clips into coverage of Trump’s MSG rally

From the New York Post: MSNBC is facing fierce backlash for using Nazi rally clips during its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s historic campaign event at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

The left-leaning network included footage from the 1939 Nazi rally at the New York City arena and compared it to Trump’s own rally, which packed the famed venue.

“But that jamboree happening right now, you see it there on your screen in that place is particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler, packed the Garden for a so-called pro-America rally,” the anchor said while rolling the footage.

The juxtaposition of the two videos was blasted as “shameful” by conservatives, who pointed out the diversity of the crowd.

Elon Musk voiced his disgust, writing, “Wow, MSNBC is utter scum of the Earth.”

“You should buy MSNBC,” suggested journalist Collin Rugg.

DMLNewsApp and TeamDML.com founder Dennis Michael Lynch also blasted MSNBC over the segment. He wrote, “How any Jew could vote blue is baffling. How they watch MSNbc is even more confusing. Comparing a Trump rally to a N@zi gatherings is a slap in the face to 6m Jews who were murdered.”

Prominent X user @amuse wrote, “INCITEMENT: Yesterday’s Trump rally was filled with Americans from every walk of life including orthodox, conservative, reform, and secular Jews. I saw a woman in a burka. It wasn’t an anything like a Nazi rally. Shame on MSNBC.”

Debra Lea, who said she is a Jewish New York Republican voiced her fury in a video posted on X. She said she just got back home from the rally, and said the media’s claim it was a Nazi rally “couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Lea wrote, “Okay now by @elonmusk too, this is the best day ever 😆 THANK YOU GOD! And thank you Elon for fighting censorship and allowing videos like mine to be posted and shared! Let’s take back America!!!! 🇺🇸💪❤️”

To top it off, Holocaust survivor Jerry Wartski was at the rally which MSNBC claimed was a “Nazi” rally.

Gentry Gevers mocked, “Fun fact: Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Donald Trump have all held political rallies at MSG. They’re all Nazis!”

Journalist Andy Ngo pointed out:

In 1892, then-Democrat presidential candidate Grover Cleveland gave a speech at Madison Square Garden after getting the party nomination. In the 20s, Democrats met there.

In the 30s, Nazis and Communists held rallies at the venue.

In the 60s, Marilyn Monroe sang for JFK at a DNC MSG fundraiser. In 1992, Bill Clinton accepted the DNC nomination for president at a MGS rally.
