Once again, Democrat Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has crossed the aisle and supported the actions of the Trump administration, making a clear break with his fellow Democrats.
After the news broke on Saturday of the capture of Venezuela’s socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro, Fetterman released a statement on X voicing his approval.
“Grateful for our U.S. military personnel that handled these orders in Venezuela with precision. I maintain that we have the STRONGEST and MOST LETHAL military in the world—today proves that even more. 🇺🇸,” he wrote.

Fetterman is being widely praised by conservatives for his statement, with many suggesting he should just go ahead and join MAGA.
The Democrat senator confirmed his position during an interview with Fox & Friends Monday morning.
He pointed to past comments from top Democrats who all wanted Maduro “gone,” and said now that it has happened, they should be celebrating.
“Why have a bounty of $25 million [on Muduro] if we didn’t want him gone?” Fetterman argued.
