From the Daily Caller: Samurai sword-wielding CEO James Jacobs is offering his armed services to remove squatters for tenants dealing with occupants who refuse to leave in the Northern California area.
Squatting is an ongoing issue in California, with lawmakers such as Republican state Assemblyman Carl DeMaio attempting to introduce legislation that would allow property owners to immediately remove squatters. The proposal was ultimately rejected by the Democratic majority.
Jacobs, the CEO of ASAP Squatter Removal, has been in the business for several years, with his website claiming a “95%+ success rate,” according to KRON4.
“At ASAP Squatter Removal, we remove unwanted occupants quickly and legally while ensuring you are never liable for our actions. As independent contractors, we make all decisions ourselves—you don’t give us orders, and we don’t act on your behalf,” the site states.
Jacobs explained that he requires property owners to sign a lease agreement with him, giving his team permission to go in and remove the squatters.
In addition to swords, his team also has AR-15s and M90 shotguns. “ASAP Squatter Removal” service has been in business for 7 years. Fees start at $10,000.
