An elementary school in Eureka, Kansas is in hot water after it has come to light that a sixth grade student was told he could not list the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk as a role model during a classroom exercise.
The incident reportedly happened back in October, but has just recently come to light. Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a college campus event on September 10.
The American Center for Law & Justice, a Christian-based law firm, has now filed a legal complaint against the Marshall Elementary School in Eureka on behalf of the student.
A principal ordered students not to tell their parents that they were forbidden from naming President Trump or Charlie Kirk as heroes.

Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet seized on the report and voiced his disgust. Kolvet wrote:
Unreal. Sixth grade students at a Kansas public school were told they could not name Charlie Kirk as a role model for an assignment.
The assignment was called “Find Your Voice,” in which the students were asked to identify their role models.
“When a student identified Charlie Kirk as a role model, [the guidance counselor] got very uncomfortable and refused to allow this name to be written on the board, yelling that he was ‘not a hero,’ and that he was not a role model.”
Another kid said President Trump, and this was also denied. Yet another student said Jesus, and once again this was denied.
A lawsuit has been filed which claims other “controversial” role models were allowed, just not conservative or Christian ones. Get your kids out of public school, folks.
