Many conservative Christians are outraged over a non-Christian ‘prayer’ that was recited at the Republican National Convention Monday evening.
Lawyer Harmeet Dhillon, a Republican Party official, closed out the day’s activities Monday evening with a Sikh prayer.
Dhillon, 55, is the former vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party, and serves as a National Committeewoman of the Republican National Committee for California. She was born in India, and moved to the United States with her family when she was a child.
She is a supporter of Trump, and was a legal adviser on the Trump 2020 campaign. She is also a co-chair of Women for Trump.
My friend Harmeet Dhillon offered a Sikh prayer to close day one of the RNC. It’s an excellent example of how we Christians should make room for those of minority faiths. America is for everyone, and I’m proud to see @pnjaban boldly make that point.🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/nzcx7mE1xy

However, Dhillon’s non-Christian prayer is drawing major backlash. Below are just some of the reactions pouring in on social media:
Day 1 of the RNC was complete with satanic chants and multiple prayers to FALSE GODS. pic.twitter.com/Bb6vbeOIbk

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! I have nothing but respect for Harmeet Dhillon but fire whoever invited her to pray to a foreign god, there is only one true God we pray to and his name is not whatever she said. His name is YAHWEH and his only begotten Son is Jesus Christ pic.twitter.com/Vxiq4NSZdi

The LORD that created this country does not answer to that demonic name. “He is not the one true God”
This is blasphemy of the highest accord, I was very disappointed that many bowed their heads

The RNC featured a prayer to a demon.
Did anyone turn their backs?
Did anyone leave the room?
Was there any resistance to this at all?pic.twitter.com/8L2itoOsR1

It is not an accident that the RNC with demon prayers is the same RNC which removed most of the remaining anti-abortion and anti-sodomy provisions from their platform.
