From the Daily Mail: A town hall event with Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday featured a shocking revelation after one voter simply wondered whether she could ask a question.

Former California First Lady Maria Shriver admitted while hosting the event with former Rep. Liz Cheney in Royal Oak, Michigan that she would only include ‘predetermined questions.’

‘Are we going to be able to ask a question?’ asked a woman in the audience.

‘You’re not, unfortunately we have some predetermined questions,’ Shriver replied. ‘And hopefully I’ll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head, I hope so.’

The Daily Mail notes that typically, attendees at townhall events are allowed to ask unscripted questions, which makes then event more authentic and allows the candidate to personally connect with the voters.

Shriver, a niece of the late U.S. president John F. Kennedy, was previously married to former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger from 1986 to 2021.

The Trump War Room posted a video clip of the townhall attendee getting shut down and wrote, “The host admits the audience can’t actually ask questions at Kamala’s fake “town hall” with Loser War Hawk Liz Cheney because the questions are “pre-determined.””
