Joe Biden’s White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, held her final press briefing in the White House on Wednesday, just five days before Biden leaves the Oval Office for good.

There are no further on-camera briefings scheduled during Biden’s final few days in office, a report by The Hill explained.

Jean-Pierre touted that this is the 537th briefing of the Biden-Harris administration, and said, “this is my 306th briefing, and the final briefing of the administration.”

In a reference to the fact that she is the first Black and the first lesbian White House press secretary, Jean-Pierre touted, “It is my sincere hope that I, while I may be the first for many things at this podium, behind this lectern, I am not the last.”

Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich wrote, “Zero news made in KJP’s final briefing. She had no details on the ceasefire/hostage deal that will end 400 days of fighting, a defining element of Biden’s presidency – instead directing reporters to an NSC background call.

“Sources familiar with the situation tell me KJP blocked John Kirby from briefing the press on the ceasefire, wanting to keep the spotlight to herself.”

More from The Hill: Trump’s incoming press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, is set to make history as the youngest person to ever hold the position. She has mused about shaking up the seating arrangement in the briefing room and giving access to less traditional media outlets, but nothing has been finalized.

Here’s one stunning exchange from the briefing, as reporters grilled KJP over Joe Biden’s refusal to give President-elect Donald Trump any credit for the just-announced peace deal between Israel and Hamas.

Despite Biden refusing to credit Trump, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller had emphatically given credit to Trump’s team, admitting on Tuesday, “When it comes to the involvement of President-elect Trump’s team, it’s been absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line.”

KJP pretended to not know who Miller was, calling him “some random person.” NewsBusters editor Curtis Houck shared the following:

WATCH: KJP dismisses the State Department spokesman Matt Miller as just some “random person” inside the Biden administration….

Bloomberg’s
@Jendeben
: “Karine, we’re sort of dancing around who gets to take credit for this deal.”

KJP: “No one’s dancing around here!”

Leonard: “Your — your colleague — your colleague at the State Department briefed our colleagues —”

KJP: “Yeah?”

Leonard: “— that President Trump was critical in getting this deal over the line. Do you not agree with that statement?”

KJP: “I — I mean, look — I’m not going to — to speak to a random person.”

Leonard: “He’s literally your colleague.”

KJP: “I — I — I — I don’t know who this person is. I’m not gonna —”

Leonard: “Matt Miller!!”

KJP: “— oh. What I — what I can say is — uh — look, obviously Matt Miller will speak for himself. What I can say is There is — um — there are steps that were taking here that is really important and critical, and that started with this President’s — starting a framework that was agreed upon by the world back in May and that was because of this President. that was because he was able to lay out his thoughts, his thinking on how to move forward with this negotiation. What I said before, this is someone who understands foreign policy as — as I’m talking about the President. He understands how difficult it is, and this was not an easy one — uh — and so, he has the experience, he was able to — to get that going, to get that started, so this has been going on for some time. It has. I mean, that’s just the reality of it. That is just the facts of it. Uh — have we been coordinating and working closely with the Trump — the incoming Trump administration — their transition team? Yes, and we’ve been very forthcoming about that — uh — but the fact of the matter is it took someone who has the experience that this president had to get this going, to get this moving, to understand what negotiations look like, and that’s what this President was able to bring to the table, and it got done under his watch.”
