From Fox News: The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement amid rioting in Los Angeles on June 7.

LA has experienced days of unrest, with agitators setting fire to cars, throwing bricks and fireworks at police officers and vehicles, graffiting property, looting businesses, and smashing windows of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) headquarters downtown in response to ICE raids in the city last week.

Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is charged with attempted murder after throwing the Molotov cocktail.

“Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles. ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Wednesday statement.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shared two photos of the violent alien and wrote, “DHS confirms to @FoxNews that ICE arrested a previously deported illegal alien from Mexico who they say was caught on video throwing a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement during the riots in Los Angeles on Saturday. Emiliano Garduno-Galvez will be charged w/ attempted murder. He has prior arrests in Long Beach for DUI and and grand theft in Anaheim.”

DHS shared a mugshot and a video and wrote:

On June 9, 2025, ICE agents in Los Angeles arrested Emiliano Garduno-Galvez—an illegal alien from Mexico—for attempted murder after he threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement during the Los Angeles riots.

Garduno-Galvez had previously been deported. He has a previous criminal record: In 2024, Garduno-Galvez was arrested by the Anaheim Police Department for grand theft and by the Long Beach Police Department for a DUI.

These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect.
