A group of comedians signed on for the latest Zoom call to benefit Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, with Ben Stiller, Jason Bateman, Cecily Strong, and D.L. Hughley among the participants.

The Monday evening event, which started at 8 p.m. ET, was inspired by a series of virtual calls that had raised significant funds for the Harris campaign since it was launched on July 21. A “White Dudes for Harris” call on Monday raised more than $4 million and featured celebrities like Jeff Bridges and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as well as political figures including Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), Harris’ chosen running mate.

During the Zoom call, Stiller discussed his love for Kamala Harris, and claimed he was a fan of because she’s an Indian black woman. He donated $150,000 to her campaign.

He also claimed that every white Jewish guy wishes he were black, though gave no backing evidence to this claim.
