The Harris campaign announced on Tuesday a $50 million advertising blitz in the weeks leading up to the Democratic National Convention. This marks their first ad release since Vice President Harris emerged as the probable Democratic nominee.
The campaign’s ad, titled “Fearless,” kicks off a series of paid media efforts before the convention, starting on August 19 in Chicago.
The 60-second ad highlights Harris’ accomplishments as a prosecutor and California attorney general, along with her tenure as vice president in the Biden administration.

“Our campaign is about championing the people,” Harris declares in the ad. “We envision a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, and seniors can retire with dignity.
“But Donald Trump aims to drag our country backward, granting tax breaks to billionaires and large corporations while dismantling the Affordable Care Act,” she adds. “We refuse to let that happen.”
The ad will be broadcast on both local and national television networks across key battleground states. It will be featured during Olympic coverage and popular shows such as Big Brother, The Daily Show, The Simpsons, and The Bachelorette.
This ad marks the Harris campaign’s initial step into advertising since Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee following President Biden’s decision to exit the race.
