Money from Democrats is pouring in to Kamala Harris’s campaign after she announced her choice for a running mate Tuesday morning.

Harris is holding holding a huge campaign rally in Philadelphia Tuesday evening.

From the Washington Examiner: Vice President Kamala Harris‘s campaign raised more than $10 million in grassroots donations in the hours following her announcement of Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate.

Harris and Walz are slated to hold their first campaign rally together at 5:30 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before hosting a virtual fundraiser later this evening. Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), a finalist of the Harris veepstakes, is expected to campaign alongside them at Temple University.

The Harris campaign raised a record $310 million in July after President Joe Biden backed out of the 2024 election and endorsed his vice president.

Massive long lines were seen waiting hours in advance to get into Harris’s rally on Tuesday. However, unlike lines seen at Trump rallies, there appears to be no flags or patriotic colors.

The arena is packed with people ahead of Harris’s speech.

Several on social media are showing comparisons of the same venue when Trump held a rally two weeks earlier, as the top tier was empty, and is now filled at the Harris event.

The venue is the Liacouras Center at Temple University, which has a capacity of 10,000 people.

Conservative podcaster Alec Lace posted a video of zombied-out drug users on the Philadelphia sidewalk and joked, “Wow! Look at the line of people waiting to see the Kamala Harris Tim Walz rally in Philadelphia!! JK [just kidding]. This is just what the result of 7 decades of Democrat rule looks like.”

Below is live-streaming coverage of the Harris event Tuesday evening.  Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro delivered a fiery speech and revved up the crowd ahead of Harris taking the stage.
