President Donald Trump recently described California Gov. Gavin Newsom as “grossly incompetent” for allowing violent rioters to wreck havoc in Los Angeles.

Now Newsom is being widely mocked for another big failure. He tried to live-stream a video address to the public Tuesday night, and it was a complete fiasco, as the video first had no audio, went offline a few times, and at other times the audio included a bad echo.

During the part of Newsom’s speech that did successfully air, he ranted and raged against President Trump, casting all the blame for the riots on the federal agents who were enforcing immigration law, and then claimed that Trump deploying the National Guard to help police regain control only made it worse.

Newsom wildly claimed that federal agents jumped out of an unmarked van near a Home Deport parking lot Saturday morning and just “started grabbing people.”

In fact, it has already been clarified that DHS has a nearby office near the Home Depot in Paramount that they were using as a staging area, and were serving warrants, targeting those who already have a deportation orders or who have criminal charges that have been signed off on by a federal judge.

“If some of us can be snatched off the streets without a warrant, based only on suspicion or skin color, then none of us are safe,” Newsom raged, as he claimed Trump is an authoritarian and a dictator.

Newsom raged on, bringing up the January 6, 2021 protest at the U.S. Capitol, and a number of other wild claims, and declared that Trump doesn’t want to be bound by the law.

To honor the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army, President Trump has planned a military parade in Washington, D.C. for Saturday, June 14. The day just happens to also be Trump’s 79th birthday.

Newsom flew into a tirade over that, claiming, “This Saturday, he’s ordering our American heroes, the United States military, and forcing them to put on a vulgar display to celebrate his birthday.”

Newsom then tried to stir up nationwide outrage, as he claimed that “other states are next, Democracy is next…. this moment we have feared has arrived.”

What is getting the most attention on social media, however, is not what Newsom said, but audio failures, as he spoke for several minutes and no one could hear a word he was saying.

Journalist Nick Sortor mocked, “Governor Newsom’s “MAJOR ADDRESS is ALREADY a massive failure, as they DIDN’T TURN THE MIC ON. NO OUTLETS have an audio feed, as Newsom tries speaking on national TV. He runs his livestreams just as well as well as he runs his state! 🤣”

The mockery over Newsom’s audio issues is off the charts.  Below are just a few of the countless comments being posted on social media:

Below is the portion of Newsom’s speech that did finally air, after a number of failed attempts.
