From Breitbart: Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) became testy and ranted about world leaders not standing up to President Donald Trump when speaking to a reporter Tuesday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
The reporter asked if he had a message for Europeans worried about the Trump administration’s comments about Greenland, the New York Post reported Tuesday.
Greenland is a territory that has been under Denmark’s control since the 18th century and Trump recently told Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre the world is not secure until the United States acquires it.
In his comments at Davos, Newsom said, “It’s time to buck up, it’s time to get serious and stop being complicit. It’s time to stand tall and firm and have a backbone… I can’t take this complicity, people rolling over. I should have brought a bunch of kneepads for all the world leaders.”
“Handing out crowns, Nobel Prizes? PATHETIC. I hope people understand how PATHETIC they look on the world stage. It’s embarrassing!!” Newsom ranted.
Continuing to slam his own president while on foreign soil, Newsom claimed, “This is diplomacy with Donald Trump? He’s a T-Rex. You mate with him or he devours you. One or the other.”

Doubling down, Newsom then posted the video on his own X page and wrote, “America’s allies and business leaders need to understand this: There’s no diplomacy with Donald Trump. Get off your knees and grow a spine.”

ALSO AT DAVOS…. CBS News correspondent Ed O’Keefe posted a photo of Newsom while he was watching Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent being interview by Fox Business.
O’Keefe wrote of Newsom: “A lefty, he took out a pen to take notes and frequently shook his head in disagreement, throwing his head back, rolling his eyes. Specifically, disagreed with Bessent claiming prices spiked during the Biden admin. Smiled and chuckles as Bessent said he thinks there will be a rise in real income this year. We spoke with Newsom after. More of that later.”
White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung mockingly responded, “Gavin Newscum sounds like a petulant child who can’t control his emotions. So he sits there wildly gesticulating like mommy didn’t give him enough attention. Maybe he needs to be sent to his room, but we all know that could be more trouble.”
