VIDEO: Fed agents unleash tear gas, rubber bullets as protesters swarm ICE facility

From Fox News: Federal agents used non-lethal munitions to shut down a large group of protesters who tried to block law enforcement vehicles from entering and exiting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday night.

The chaotic scenes unfolded when agents deployed rubber bullets, tear gas and flash bangs to disperse the crowd who had swarmed the compound, according to video captured by Turning Point USA’s Frontlines.

It was the latest in a series of protests outside the ICE building in the sanctuary city which have raged for about a week and a half.

Hundreds of mostly masked protesters had marched on the streets before sunset, some holding signs reading “Nobody is illegal on stolen land” and “Protect immigrants and refugees.” Several were wearing keffiyehs, a symbol often associated with left-wing protest movements.

Turning Point USA’s FRONTLINES journalist Jonathan Choe shared multiple videos on X as the incident played out Wednesday evening and into the night.

Hundreds of Antifa militants have marched to the Portland ICE building and are now rallying. They’re demanding the release of illegals. Federal authorities are closely monitoring the situation on the ground and from the rooftops.

Antifa militants are trying to prevent a Homeland Security caravan from entering the Portland ICE building. Dozens of federal agents are now ordering the rowdy mob to leave or stay off their property.

If there was any doubt, this is indeed an Antifa direct action outside the Portland ICE building. The militants are proudly flying their flags and leaving their mark.

After more than three hours of protesting, Antifa militants are still going strong in front of the Portland ICE building. Cops are patiently standing back. No serious incidents so far.

It’s unclear how much longer Antifa will be allowed to protest in front of the Portland ICE building. But take a look at all the federal officers who are waiting to pounce. When it’s go time, expect the militants to get smoked out.

Homeland Security gave Antifa multiple warnings to disperse from the Portland ICE building. Several vehicles needed to exit.

When the militants refused, officers moved in and unleashed their full fury. Multiple people have been arrested.

When an Antifa militant tried to block the entrance of the Portland ICE building with a dumpster, a hail of non-lethal blast balls came raining down from a sniper on the roof. Truly felt like a war zone.

The feds ended up taking away the Antifa dumpster. Crowd booed then retreated. Game over.

The Antifa mob swelled to several hundred people in front of the Portland ICE building Thursday evening. Now it’s down to a few dozen stragglers yelling insults at federal agents. Unclear what happens next. But this is now a low energy event.
