A Tesla Cybertruck parked near the front door of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas exploded and and went up in flames Wednesday morning.

The fire reportedly occurred about 8:40 a.m. local time. It is still uncertain what caused it.

A video posted to social media by X user @kaaaassuu shows a huge inferno, as the truck was engulfed in flames, while several explosions were heard.

“Cybertruck blew up in front of Trump hotel in Las Vegas. Those are our luggage by the door and that’s where we were when it happened,” the user wrote.

The Las Vegas Police Department announced, “We are investigating a vehicle fire at the entrance to Trump Towers. The fire is out. Please avoid the area.”

Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, reacted to the incident, writing on X, “Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire occurred in the porte cochère of Trump Las Vegas. The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism. @TrumpLasVegas.”

Another video posted to social media from blocks away shows smoke billowing from the front of the hotel.
