From Breitbart: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) referred to a crude sex joke based on a fake meme to make fun of rival Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) during a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate.

“I can’t wait to debate the guy,” Walz said, to cheers. Then he added: “That is, if he’s willing to get off the couch and show up.”

The crowd roared with laughter.

“You see what I did there?” he said, clearly aware of the joke.

The report then explains that Walz’s vile ‘joke’ is in reference to a meme circulating on social media which claims Vance had sex with a couch, based on a fake citation from his memoir, Hillbilly Elegy.

Breitbart shared the following video that explains how the totally false story got started, which was actually “fact-checked” as false by the Associated Press.

Walz then brazenly doubled down, actually posting the same comments on social media:

Walz is being blasted on social media for promoting the disgusting, fake narrative.

Daily Wire host Matt Walsh wrote, “Just to review: someone on Twitter made up a story about JD Vance having sex with a couch and now that totally made up story is being used on stage by the Kamala campaign to mock Vance. This is honestly one of the dirtiest things I’ve ever seen a presidential campaign do. These people are pure evil.”
