From the New York Post: Conservative podcaster Matt Walsh donned a man bun as he went undercover to ask heavy questions for his upcoming documentary flick “Am I Racist,” which will be the Daily Wire’s first original theatrical release.
The outlet dropped a trailer for the upcoming documentary Tuesday, revealing Walsh’s journey through the world of the anti-racism movement, where he explored literature, interviewed experts, and seemingly took an earnest look into the depths of his soul.
Before donning the man bun, Walsh was seen in the trailer getting kicked out of an event after a woman didn’t seem to think he was taking anti-racism seriously.
“If I’m going to sort this out, I need to go deeper undercover. If I want to be an ally, I need to look like one,” he explained in the trailer as he put on a wig and tied up his hair to go full hippie.
Walsh previously starred in the 2022 documentary “What Is a Woman,” the report notes.
The new documentary is scheduled to be released September 13.
In the trailer, a woman, identified as Saira Rao, is ranting against Republicans at a dinner party. “Republicans are Nazis,” she declares. “You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people!”
Rao later says, “The entire system has to burn… this country is not worth saving. This county is a piece of sh*t!”
The Post explains about the dinner party: Race2Dinner organizes private sessions that reportedly cost women up to $5,000 to dine with its co-founders Regina Jackson and Saira Rao for about two hours to discuss “white supremacy, racism and xenophobia.”
The trailer also show Walsh going up to people and asking them to sign a fake petition to change the name of the Washington Monument to the “George Floyd Monument.”
“Wait until you see how many people signed it,” he teased in a social media post.

Over a year ago I embarked on a personal journey into anti-racism and DEI. Now I can finally share it with all of you. My new film “AM I RACIST?” is only in theaters on September 13th. pic.twitter.com/gnhpJ253oE

We got the What Is A Woman team back together and spent well over a year making this film. It’s the most ambitious thing any of us have attempted. Extremely difficult to pull off. Even more difficult for me to keep my mouth shut about it all this time. Excited for you to see it. https://t.co/3mpeQo4uto
