From the Daily Mail: The University of Nevada women’s volleyball team is at odds with their own school after voting to forfeit a game against a rival with a transgender player.
The college volleyball season has been plunged into the debate over trans athletes in recent weeks because of San Jose State University’s Blaire Fleming.
Fleming, a redshirt senior, has been cited as the reason four schools have forfeited matches against San Jose State so far this season because of safety concerns.
Those concerns were raised again last week when Fleming sent a ferocious spike off a female opponent’s face during their game against the San Diego State Aztecs.
On Monday, players on Nevada’s women’s volleyball team announced they had voted to forfeit their game against San Jose State on October 26.
The University of Nevada women’s volleyball team just became the 5th team to refuse to play against the San Jose State University team this season.
(Blaire Fleming, a biological male originally known as Braydon Fleming, is a 2020 graduate of John Champe High School in Loudoun County, Virginia.)
A spokesperson for the University of Nevada released a statement to Outkick, in reaction to their women’s volleyball team’s decision to forfeit the game.
“On Oct. 13, 2024, the majority of members of the University of Nevada, Reno women’s volleyball team sent a statement to the University advising the institution that they were forfeiting its scheduled match with San Jose State University on Oct. 26, 2024. The players’ decision and statement were made independently, and without consultation with the University or the athletic department. The players’ decision also does not represent the position of the University,” the statement reads.
Throwing the team “under the bus,” the university declared its support for “equality of rights,” including “providing competition in an inclusive and supportive environment.”
“The University intends to move forward with the match as scheduled, and the players may choose not to participate in the match on the day of the contest. No players will be subject to any team disciplinary action for their decision not to participate in the match,” the university announced.
If the Nevada women’s volleyball team holds firm in their decision to boycott the game, one side of the court will clearly be empty if the match does “move forward.”

SJSU’s Blaire Fleming committed a hard spike on Thursday that knocked down an SDSU player.
It’s one thing to say there are differences in strength between male and female athletes; witnessing the evidence on video is astonishing.

Below are just two separate instances recently when the transgender player, Blaire Fleming, a biological male, spiked the ball so hard it knocked a female player to the ground.
Complete slap in the face to every single female athlete. Why is the @NCAA pretending that it is “fair” for biological men to compete against women?
Just look at how hard and fast biological male Blaire Fleming from @SanJoseStateVB hits this ball – unfair AND dangerous. pic.twitter.com/wJQkYn1hfa

It appears there may be more to the story. Below is a social media post by citizen journalist James Hartline:
This story is MUCH bigger than what has thus far been reported in the media. I have uncovered even more disturbing information on this case. After reviewing the published social media account of the high school where Braydon “Blaire” Fleming attended and graduated in 2020, photographs from the account make it obvious the high school had to know Fleming was a male. Even worse, it appears to me from looking at other social media posted photos that the high school has had other males living as female transgenders at the school.
The high school is obscenely obsessed with sports at all levels of the school and it is the primary focus of everything the school does. This is important because it would play a role in why the school was willfully ignoring the fact that Fleming was born a male and allowed him to impersonate a female to win vollyball games for the school.
It appears Fleming’s family are attached to the military and the area the school is located in is deeply tied to the military and Washington DC government operations including DHS which is one of Loudon County’s biggest employers.
The high school is located in Loudon County, Virginia which has a notorious reputation for promoting transgenderism in public schools in the Loudon Public school district and other obscene practices. This led to the parental uprising against the Loudon County school board and the evicting of a number of radical left school board members. The Loudon school board was the school board silencing parents at school board meetings, as well as covering up the sexual assault of a female student by a sexual predator male student living as a transgender who attacked the female student in the girl’s school bathroom. The father of the female student was arrested at the Loudon school board meeting for speaking out about what had happened to his daughter.
Screenshot Photos 1 and 2 are from 2020 when Fleming was a senior at the high school and it is obvious that Fleming had a male looking face while impersonating a female student. Screenshots 3 and 4 show Fleming dying his hair blond and clearly had physical characteristics that did not align with a person born female. Fleming was described as 6′ 1″ and 139 LBS as a senior playing volleyball.

Blaire Fleming has played DI volleyball for three seasons, first at Coastal Carolina University and subsequently at San Jose, and “has never made any public statement regarding her gender identity.” Regardless, the NCAA does not unilaterally bar trans players from competition. pic.twitter.com/Hd15rvTwmN
