From the New York Post: Lefty New York City Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed Monday that Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is stupid during a fiery screed that drew mockery from her critics.
“This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed,” Ocasio-Cortez, 35, said during an Instagram Live video session.
“This dude is not smart, and the danger in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has, I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we know of,” she added, referring to his efforts to reform government spending — which she and her Dem cronies vehemently oppose.
The South African-born Musk, 53, moved to the US from Canada in the 1990s and quickly formed the multimillion-dollar company Zip2 before starting another firm that later became PayPal.
The New York Post further explains that Musk used the money he made from his first companies to start SpaceX from scratch, and that company is currently building the most advanced super heavy lift rocket ever created, Starship.
Musk also purchased and expanded Tesla, which reportedly now has a net worth of over $1 trillion.
“They don’t do their homework, clearly. Like, they’re putting 19-year-olds in at the Treasury. This dude is not smart,” AOC wildly claimed in her Instagram video, criticizing Musk’s DOGE operations.

AOC’s comment is drawing widespread mockery on social media.
X user Gary Wehunt wrote, “AOC calls Elon Musk the most unintelligent billionaire ever. She unwittingly, may be the greatest comedian of our day. I know I’m laughing.”
Kurt Kumar wrote, “There are people who get work done and then there are people who get in the way work gets done. @AOC we all will defend your right to say whatever you feel like but at the end what did you get done this week?”
Another X user mocked, “This video in itself was an IQ test that @AOC failed publicly. Would love to see how your IQ stands up against @elonmusk IQ.”
