President Donald Trump slammed Joe Biden in a scathing post on Truth Social Sunday afternoon, after learning that an illegal alien criminal who was released into the country by the Biden administration has just shot an off-duty Border Patrol agent in the FACE during an attempted robbery Saturday night in New York City.
The illegal alien, who was previously deported and returned to the U.S. in April 2023, has been identified as Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez from the Dominican Republic.
In surveillance footage released by DHS, Nunez and another man are seen riding up on a motorized scooter while the off-duty agent and a friend were sitting in a park. Nunez approaches the couple from behind and tries to rob them. The Border Patrol agent pulled out his gun, and exchanged shots with Nunez.
The agent was first shot in the face, and then returned fire, striking Nunez in the chest. The two suspects then fled on the scooter, and Nunez was arrested when he showed up at a hospital to be treated for bullet wounds.

President Trump reacted to the incident with the following post on Truth Social:
Last night, in New York City, an incredible CBP Officer was shot in the face by an Illegal Alien Monster freed into the Country under Joe Biden. He was apprehended at the Border in April 2023 but, instead of being deported, was RELEASED.
The CBP Officer bravely fought off his attacker, despite his wounds, demonstrating enormous Skill and Courage.
The Democrats have flooded our Nation with Criminal Invaders, and now, they must all be thrown out or, in some cases, immediately prosecuted in that we cannot take a chance that they are able to come back. That’s how evil and dangerous they are!
