According to GB News, the stabbing attack started shortly after the train left the Peterborough station at 7:30pm, and the terrifying rampage continued until it arrived at Huntingdon about 15 or 20 minutes later.

Armed police rushed to the scene as the train arrived at the Huntingdon station.

One witness told the media he saw a man with a large knife and said there was “blood everywhere.”   He described one suspect as a “black male wearing all black,” who was tasered by police.

One X user wrote, “Passenger has already stated black man got on at Peterborough, train left station, black man and colleague ran down aisles shouting allah akbar brandishing knives, it’s a 15min journey from Pboro to Hunts must have been terrifying.”

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer wrote in a statement on X, “The appalling incident on a train near Huntingdon is deeply concerning. My thoughts are with all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services for their response. Anyone in the area should follow the advice of the police.”

One witness told BBC news that he saw an older man block the attacker’s path to protect a girl. The attacker then stabbed the older man in the head and neck, and other passengers tried to help to stop the bleeding.
