NBC ‘Today Show’ host Savannah Guthrie posted a new video message on Instagram Sunday night, pleading with whoever kidnapped her mother to do the right thing and contact them.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, and she still has not been found.
The FBI did reveal on Sunday that a discarded glove which investigators found does appear to match the gloves seen in doorbell footage being worn by the suspect, and the glove is being tested for DNA.
The FBI has increased the reward to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
In the video posted on Instagram, Savannah Guthrie said, “I wanted to come on… it’s been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope, and we still believe. And I wanted to say to whoever has her or knows where she is, that it’s never too late, and you are not lost or alone.”
“It is never too late to do the right thing, and we are here. We believe, and we believe in the essential goodness of every human being,” she added.
