California Gov. Gavin Newsom is fuming over the Trump administration’s efforts to arrest illegal alien criminals in his state, and blasted President Trump for sending in the National Guard after Newsom failed to quell the violent riots that have erupted in Los Angeles.

Newsom whined that President Trump didn’t even ask his permission before deploying the National Guard, and now he’s threatening to file a lawsuit.

Speaking to NBC News reporter Jacob Soboroff on Sunday, Newsom raged against Trump. Posting a video from the interview, the Democrat governor wrote, “Donald Trump is putting fuel on this fire. Commandeering a state’s National Guard without consulting the Governor of that state is illegal and immoral. California will be taking him to court.”

Monday morning, President Trump doubled down, writing in a post on Truth Social:

We made a great decision in sending the National Guard to deal with the violent, instigated riots in California. If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated.

The very incompetent “Governor,” Gavin Newscum, and “Mayor,” Karen Bass, should be saying, “THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR.” Instead, they choose to lie to the People of California and America by saying that we weren’t needed, and that these are “peaceful protests.”

Just one look at the pictures and videos of the Violence and Destruction tells you all you have to know. We will always do what is needed to keep our Citizens SAFE, so we can, together, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Meanwhile, FBI Director Kash Patel released a scorching statement:

“Just so we are clear, this FBI needs no one’s permission to enforce the constitution. My responsibility is to the American people, not political punch lines. LA is under siege by marauding criminals, and we will restore law and order. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you.”
