From the New York Post: MSNBC’s new president continued to overhaul the embattled network Monday — canceling shows hosted by left-wing anchors Ayman Mohyeldin, Katie Phang and Jonathan Capehart, The Post has learned.

The bloodbath follows the ouster of rabid anti-Trump anchor Joy Reid after reports surfaced Sunday that the Comcast-owned network is canceling her show, “The ReidOut.”

On Monday, an NBC insider told The Post that staff working for Capehart and Phang were informed that their weekend shows have been canceled.

The source spoke shortly after The Guardian reported that Mohyeldin’s show will be taken off the air. network. His show “Ayman Mohyeldin Reports,” which airs on the weekends at 7 p.m., will broadcast its final episode on April 20, according to the UK paper.

The report explains that Phang will stay on with NBC as a legal correspondent while Mohyeldin (who was born in Egypt) and Capehart will host shows in new time slots.

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann flew into a frenzy, claiming the program changes are all due to racism.

Another leftist, Nathan Lean, also played the race card, writing, “Sad that in the era of Trump fascism, MSNBC has decided to cut Joy Reid and Ayman Mohyeldin. The erasure of a Black woman and a Muslim man is consistent with mainstream media’s long placation of the white elite and silencing of dissent.”

Still pinned to the top of Phang’s X page is a post from October in which she wildly claimed that “serious questions about Trump’s physical and mental fitness abound.”
