Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has released a statement, amid the heated internal debate on X over foreign workers that has fractured the unity of President-elect Donald Trump’s support base.

The fiery online discussion started on Christmas Eve and has escalated over the past three days, after independent journalist Laura Loomer sounded the alarm about so many tech executives who are pushing for foreign workers from India, while managing to get themselves into Trump’s inner circle.

Elon Musk retaliated against Loomer by slapping her with a 12-hour suspension, cancelling all her subscriptions, and yanking her blue check mark verification Thursday night.

Greene responded by posting the following statement Friday morning:

Good gracious, I came out of Christmas bliss to see arguments about American labor vs H1-B imported labor and MAGA split over this issue.

Good, that means everyone is engaged in saving this country.

Here is some tough reality for some of you:

There are some big MAGA voices with large social media platforms throwing down their opinions yet they have never run a company that relies on thousands of skilled/highly trained workers with a constant need for reliable labor yet they claim authority over the subject matter.

When you spend years trying to constantly hire/train/maintain a good reliable workforce, which is a 24/7 never ending cycle, your real world experience will produce an opinion based on reality and all of your followers on X don’t translate to this.

Having owned a construction company for decades (yes I’m that old), I know firsthand our workforce issues.

However, I fully believe we must make the hard and necessary changes here in the U.S. to educate, build, and facilitate a solid foundation of knowledgeable, highly skilled, talented, well paid, AMERICAN workers.

Not having this is like having a crumbling foundation in our house and currently we are importing foreigners to hold up the foundation walls and plug the leaks.

Too many of our young people, are killing their bodies and minds on alcohol and drugs, wasting years and money earning useless college degrees, chasing unrealistic dreams, spending all their time trying to be the next you tuber/content creator/social media influencer instead of pursuing a useful skill set/trade/education in order to become a part of our much needed American workforce.

If you fall in this category, put down the selfie light, and go apply for a job and replace the H1-B visa holders and all the other skilled labor jobs that foreign workers are taking and American companies are desperately trying to hire.

It’s called building a career, you work your way up.

In order to go forward we must change our education system, create a culture that respects hard work and productivity, cut government waste/spending/regulations in order to produce a healthy robust economy that lowers inflation and pays higher wages to an American workforce, so that H1-B is no longer needed and can be done away with.

Decades of America LAST bad decisions in Washington wove a giant web of America LAST policies that created systems and structures that must be torn down and rebuilt to put America FIRST.

This requires everyone’s help to change it and we will all have to do what it takes to get it done.

It won’t be easy and it won’t be as quick as we like, but we can do it TOGETHER and the results will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN but EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE!!!

Podcast host Dennis Michael Lynch responded, “Bullsh-t. You make it sound like the H-1B visa is the fast food place a late-nighter needs to visit because it stays open at 4am when all healthy options are closed.

“The H-1B is riddled with fraud, and it crushes the American worker w/upsides for the companies who want cheap labor they can control. And btw, the Founding Fathers expected you to return to your construction business versus landing a career in DC.”

One X user, Marisa, replied, “I hear you @repMTG but I spent years working in Human Resources in the IT industry. HR managers (always the lefties) were happy to hire immigrants on visas over US workers with the same skillset. The H-1B process is broken when it is favors immigrants over Americans. It MUST be fixed!”

X user CTTechworkers wrote, “@repmtg I think you’re missing the point. We HAVE BEEN applying for these jobs and we are being ignored – even if we are better qualified. We do not have eual opportunity on our own soil. Go to @USTechWorks to learn more.”

Another person wrote, “I too have run a business for a decade and you’re wrong. My experience is that the best leaders hure the best people. Period.
If you can’t find the right manpower, that means you are not attracting the right people. You just showed your cards without realizing it.”

X user ‘Kudzu Jungle’ blasted out a powerful rebuttal to Greene.  She wrote:

Representative Greene, don’t you dare speak for me. You don’t represent me on this debate.

Before you have a cow over the MAGA influencers talking about the H1-B visas, have you actually LISTENED to the people that were replaced by H1-B?

I worked at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia, in early 2000s and that’s when contractors learned what was happening to them. We were deceived. People trained H1-B visa holders, not knowing they were training their replacements.

My friend was told he could have a contract when he could change the color of his skin. Contracts were going to Black-owned, and Indian-owned businesses.

I was in the contract negotiation stage for something I invented, that the government wanted exclusive rights to. They used Intergraph to act as the government liason in negotiations, and to steal the plans from me and shut down my company.

I filed suit.

It was awarded to an H1-B company, and the owner called me begging for me to work for him, and to remove him as a defendant. He knew the goverment was going to be shutting me down and I wouldn’t be able to afford my mortgage. It was joke to the government. One person wanted to know how long I would be able to keep my home.

The H1-B offered me a substantial bribe and told me it will save my property, and if I would work for him, I would still be able to work on my project and he would make me a very wealthy woman.

I would not back down on my case. It was assigned to a judge that was on the board of directors with Intergraph on some do good project. Intergraph was a key defendant and the judge would not recuse himself.

Georgia senators refused to help me. One of them said they depended on Intergraph for funding.

There were some 14 lawyers going against me, as a pro se litigant, including the DOJ. I got a call from the DOJ lawyer telling me I should become a lawyer, and how cool would it be that a DOJ lawyer would recommend me.

I wouldn’t quit and from 2002 – 2009, lawyers were not able to get the case dismissed, so, the judge forced me to give a presentation before the court, and his invited guests, the lawyers, and whoever else filled that room. Then he ordered me to put everything on file with the court. Then he ordered me to his chambers and right in front of me, he turned my project over to Intergraph’s lead lawyer and told him to do with it what he wanted.

I told the judge he can’t do that because there’s a protective order on it. He leaned over his desk at me and said “And I remove your protective order.”

The judge helped Intergraph and the government take my project away from me.

I was sitting at Joshua Cup coffee house in Macon, Georgia, and the judge’s son some how knew I was there, and he walked in and sat at my table, and told me his dad is very well connected.

I ended up living in my car and I lost everything. Contractors were warned that if they associated with me, then they would lose their contracts.

Joshua Cup owner hired me. I was known as the “chip girl” there. Intergraph’s lawyers would come in to Joshua Cup, and my boss would let me hide in the back starewell until they left. It was humiliating to go from negotiating a multimillion dollars project to be putting chips on people’s plates.

Then one day I had enough. I saw the lawyers walking down the sidewalk, and my boss told me to leave the line. But I told her no, this time. I’m going to put chips on their plates and face my humiliation and fear once and for all. And I did. And I treated them with kindness.

Before members of Congress degrade America, in favor of visas, think about what you are saying. How many Americans were replaced? How many got beat down in the courts, and through Congress?

Members of Congress, you owe Americans the chance to tell their stories before you replace any more of us.

You owe Americans the chance to be able to attend schools that aren’t deliberately dumbing down the youth and forcing them to endure anti-Christ and anti-American classes.

Representative Greene, shut about the MAGA influences until you are willing to hear the rest of the story.

Some people are responding by highlighting the cheap wages companies can get foreign workers for.

One person argued that “Corporatism allows for cheap scab labor to be imported to undercut market wages for Americans, creating a drain in other countries while sabotaging people here.”

“You and Vivek are right: Too many Americans spent their formative years at the mall, or talking on the phone with their friends, and not embracing the academic rigors necessary to become a cook for $22k a year. WE NEED TO FLOOD THE COUNTRY WITH IMMIGRANTS!” user ‘Drunk News Anchor’ mocked.
