Iran is now claiming, without evidence, that they have shot down two Israeli fighter jets, and captured at least one Israeli female pilot.

This comes as Iran has now launched a retaliatory attack against Israel, firing off hundreds of ballistic missiles on the city of Tel Aviv beginning around 9:00 pm local time.

Israel has denied Iran’s report of the downed fighter jets.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency claimed in a post on X, “Iran’s air defense forces have shot down two Israeli F-35 fighter jets and intercepted several hostile drones.
Tasnim also reported that one female pilot has been taken into custody.”

Stated media outlet IRNA News cheered, “Iran’s decisive retaliatory operation against Israel, dubbed “True Promise 3,” has begun.”

“Reports suggest that several Iranian missiles struck the security ministry compound of the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv,” IRNA claimed in another post.

Sharing photos of bombed buildings in Tel Aviv, the Tasnim News Agency bragged, “This is Tel Aviv — where Israelis are now tasting the bitter medicine of their own warmongering.”

Another post on social media states, “So far, the Magen David Adom says they have transported 17 people to hospitals for various injuries, most being minor to moderate. Search-and-rescue teams are still sweeping buildings near impact sites in and around Tel-Aviv.”
