Investigators have reportedly determined that the man who committed an Islamic terror attack in New Orleans early Wednesday morning had some help from at least four additional people.

The man who drove the white pickup truck into a crowd of New Years revelers on Bourbon Street after 3:00 a.m. has been identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, a US citizen born and raised in Texas. He also reportedly spent 10 years in the U.S. Army.

From the Associated Press: Investigators have reviewed video showing three men and a woman placing an improvised explosive device in connection with the car attack that killed at least 10 people in New Orleans’ French Quarter.

That’s according to a Louisiana State Police bulletin obtained by The Associated Press.

The revelation could help explain why officials at a Wednesday news conference said that they were aggressively hunting for additional suspects and did not believe the driver of the pickup truck, 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, acted alone.

Chilling new video footage has surfaced of the moment Jabbar navigated around a police cruiser barricade, then turned into a crowd of people and hit the gas.  He had an ISIS flag attached to a flag pole on the back of the pickup.

Another terrifying new video shows the moments immediately after Jabbar stopped the truck, then stepped out and began shooting at police.

A photographer is seen taking a photo of the ISIS flag which had been attached to the back of the truck. It had been removed and laid on the ground.

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec reported, “Hearing Jabbar was reported twice to his Army COC for Islamic extremist views and they were too scared of causing a racial and religious issue to address.”

Journalist Nick Sortor reported: “A friend of New Orleans attacker Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar says Jabbar converted to Islam and began acting erratically in recent months.”

In a video posted to YouTube a couple years ago, Jabbar introduced himself as the Property Manager at Blue Meadow Properties and Team Lead for the Midas Group, and said he had also served in the Army for 10 years.

He says he grew up on Beaumont, and now lives in Houston.
