UPDATE: Gavin Newsom goes on expletive filled rant over ‘fake f–king outrage’ after his ‘racist’ SAT comments in Atlanta

Gavin Newsom is digging himself into an even deeper hole!

From the New York Post: Gov. Gavin Newsom is firing back at critics who’ve accused him of racism over comments about his low SAT scores in an onstage chat with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens — with an expletive-filled rant online.

“You didn’t give a s–t about the President of the United States of America posting an ape video of President [Barack] Obama or calling African nations s—holes — but you’re going to call me racist for talking about my lifelong struggle with dyslexia?” Newsom fumed on X.

“Spare me your fake f–ing outrage.”

Newsom’s raging post was in response to a video montage shared by Fox News host Sean Hannity, which mocked his racist comments.

“I’m not trying to impress you, I’m just trying to impress upon you, ‘I’m like you. I’m not better than you.’ I’m a 960 SAT guy,” Newsom told Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens during a Sunday night event. “And I’m not trying to offend anyone,” Newsom added. “I’m not trying to act all there if you got 940 … You’ve never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech.”

New was lambasted over his comments, which appeared to imply that he was accusing Black people of being dumb, while trying to related to them by indicating he couldn’t read either.

Newsom tried to justify his remarks by bringing up a video about election fraud which President Trump had posted recently. At the very end, the video inadvertently included a short blip from a “Lion King” parody which featured Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. President Trump had explained that he never saw the ending of the video, and deleted it from his Truth Social account when it was discovered.

But Newsom’s fuming rant against Hannity’s post has only generated more backlash for himself.

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, fired back at Newsom:

This seems like a good time to remind you that a black student in Mississippi is 2.5X more likely to read proficiently by 4th grade than if he or she lived in California. We would be happy to send one of our reading coaches to assist you, @GavinNewsom. Learning is a lifelong journey, and you might achieve some of the gains that our black fourth graders have.

Incidentally, one nice feature of increased literacy is that you do not have to fall back on vulgarity to seem passionate.
Let me know!

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) wrote, “Sean Hannity is absolutely right! Gavin Newsom suffers from the “bigotry of low expectations” and I for one am tired of Democrats (including the likes of Kathy Hochul and Joe Biden) stereotyping Black people.”

CJ Pearson asked, “Why does Gavin Newsom think cussing will distract us from the fact that he equated blackness with being a dumbass? We’re not as dumb as you think we are, NEWSCUM.”

“Your comments were racist. Instead of swearing at people on the internet, you should apologize to the black community,” declared Alex Bruesewitz.

In response to his claim that he can’t read, Joel Fischer posted a screenshot of an old post and mocked, “This you?”
