FROM NY POST: Four people have been arrested in connection with a shooting spree at a Mississippi homecoming football game that killed six and injured more than a dozen, according to authorities.

The shooting occurred around midnight on Main Street in Leland, Mayor John Lee previously told The Post.

Teviyon L. Powell, 29, William Bryant, 29, and Morgan Lattimore, 25, have been charged with capital murder, and Latoya A. Powell, 44, has been charged with attempted murder for Friday’s shooting, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Jackson Field Office announced Monday.

The Heidelberg Police Department was listed as the arresting agency on all four suspects.

Authorities have not revealed the possible motive for the shooting in Leland, but the FBI said the gunfire appears to have been “sparked by a disagreement among several individuals.”

The spokesperson said that “other arrests are pending” as the investigation continues into the shooting in the rural northwest Delta region.

The six victims were identified by the county coroner as Oreshama Johnson, 41, Calvin Plant, 19, Shelbyona Powell, 25, and Kaslyn Johnson, 18, Amos Brantley, 18, and JaMichael Jones, 34, WBLT reported. Brantley and Jones both dies at the hospital, and the other four victims dies at the scene.

“There were bodies. There were people standing around. There was blood coming from people’s rears and back, side, arm, head,” said Camisha Hopkins, an eyewitness of the shooting. “And, when you get out, it was like Beirut. It was the most horrific scene I’ve ever seen.”

The arrests were made after the FBI released images of the suspects.
