The State of Israel has no choice but to fulfill the obligation to act in defense of its citizens and will continue to do so everywhere it is required to do so, as we have done in the past.

Israeli Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir released the following statement about the strikes:
“We went on the offensive because the time has come. We have reached the point of no return. We must not wait for another time to act. We have no choice. History, both distant and recent, has taught us that in the face of ambitions to destroy us, we must not bow our heads, and on this basis we fight to preserve our existence. Freedom was given to those who are willing to fight for it.”
