UPDATE: Chilling footage of Nancy Guthrie crime scene as cops investigate series of ‘ransom notes’ sent to reporters

Authorities now believe Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped from her home Saturday night or early Sunday morning, and say trails of blood found on the property indicate she did not go willingly. Officials are now in a race against time to find her.

From the Daily Mail: A chilling photo from the home of Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother shows blood splattered on the walkway as investigators probed a possible ransom note.

The image showed blood puddled just feet from the doorstep from Nancy Guthrie’s $1million Tucson, Arizona home and the Ring doorbell camera missing.

It was unclear whether the Ring camera had been removed prior to the 84-year-old’s abduction.

She was last seen at the house, where she lives alone, at around 9.45pm on Saturday before she was mysteriously kidnapped.

Family members then reported her missing after she failed to appear for Sunday church services.

In a separate report, the Daily Mail wrote: Investigators say there were signs of forced entry and that Guthrie’s pacemaker stopped syncing with her Apple Watch data at around 2am Sunday morning – suggesting this was the moment she was taken from her bed.

News Nation correspondent Brin Entin posted a video taken of the front porch of Guthrie’s home, showing splatters of blood on the porch.

TMZ reported that they received a ransom note Tuesday morning, demanding payment for Guthrie’s release. TMZ wrote:

The note, which was sent to us Tuesday morning, demands a specific substantial amount of Bitcoin … the amount is in the millions, and the note demands the cryptocurrency be sent to a specific Bitcoin address.

TMZ has verified the Bitcoin address is real. There is a deadline connected to the alleged ransom … and an element of “or else.”

Pima County Sheriff’s Department posted a note on X Tuesday afternoon which states, “We are aware of reports circulating about possible ransom note(s) regarding the investigation into Nancy Guthrie. We are taking all tips and leads very seriously. Anything that comes in, goes directly to our detectives who are coordinating with the FBI.”
