Not a single word leaked to the media in advance about the U.S. airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities Saturday night.
Instead, President Trump announced the news himself on his Truth Social page, and the bombshell announcement of the massive bombing operation literally caused another crash – the surge in traffic was so massive that the Truth Social platform temporarily crashed.
Many social media users started posting screenshots on X, showing the blank Truth Social website.
The site was only down about 15 or 20 minutes, and then started operating normally again.
According to FalconFeeds.io, “Iraq’s cyber resistance group 313 Team claims responsibility for attacking the servers of Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, in retaliation for US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facility.”
However, that claim has not been verified, and most appear to believe the site simply crashed due to the sudden surge in traffic, due to Trump’s post about the airstrike.
