In a Truth Social post Sunday night, President-elect Donald Trump mocked defeated presidential candidate Kamala Harris for cozying up to former Rep. Liz Cheney during her presidential campaign.
Cheney, an ‘anti-Trump Republican,’ had voted to impeach Trump during his first term in office, and played a prominent role in the infamous January 6 Select Committee. Furious over her attacks against Trump, Republicans in Wyoming voted her out of office in the 2022 election.
Cheney had vowed to do ‘whatever it takes’ to prevent Trump from ever winning back the Oval Office. She endorsed Democrat Kamala Harris, and even helped campaign for her.
Trump said that was a huge mistake.
“The Democrats made a BIG mistake in getting Crazy Liz Chaney, and her father, Dick, involved in their campaign for President. It made the Republicans angry, and the Democrats just plain scratching their heads in amazement,” Trump wrote.
“It is always a bad idea to bring “losers”into a political campaign!” he added.
